Summer 2010

Wow. I can't believe an entire year has passed since I graduated. It's been a long and amazing year outta high school. To celebrate the inevitable greatness of this coming summer, I finished my first acrylic piece on cardboard with watercolor. I titled it Levitation for obvious reasons but anyways, I'm pretty happy with how it came out. Go check out my flickr for more:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/26364673@N06/A few days ago, me and Joseph cruised on over to the annual Maui Matsuri festival. I'm not sure if thats how you spell it but I wasn't surprised to find this guy cruisen it over there as well.
Here are some photos in celebration of the upcoming release of our digi cam video, Nah Yup. This guy was pretty ridiculous. He lives in the house in front of this sick ditch we were trying to skate. We'd never had problems skating that ditch before because it was in a neighborhood but this douche decided to try and kick us out. Eventually we got to arguing and the guy decided to get in Joseph's face, the one guy who was most calm.
After the Ho'olaulea we stopped by Makawao school to skate the 6 stair. This is the first handrail I ever did and it only took about 6 or 7 years.
So yeah, heres an photo of the boys back in January when we first started filming this thing. Everyone's looking excited for the video drop. Hehe. Chee, this summer going be great.

Just Cruzen

These past weeks have been full of me just cruzen. This past weekend, Saturday I think was Kaloe's 18th bday. 4 or 5 cops busted us for skating this sick new bank spot we discovered in Wailuku. Yesterday was a cruz day so after a trip to the airport ditch we trekked up to Swinging Bridges. It was my first time.
The hike up was a lot longer than I anticipated. Miles claims he got us through without having to pay because he was barefoot.
On the way up we seen these 2 cute dogs. They were pretty stink though.
I thought this little cave thing was sick.
By the time we got up to this pond, I was sweating. It felt so good to jump into the white wash.
Here is a nice little video from 420.

Here Comes the Moon

I just finished this piece this morning. It's for sure one of my favorites. I had been saving this super good watercolor paper I got from my mentor my senior year in high school. It's called Arches and I really hope I can get a hold of some more soon. For more of my art go cruise on over to my flickr.

Spring Break '10

First day I got there me and my dad went to get our hair cut. This is before.
This is after. I probably should have cut it shorter but at least it looks less wild.
There so much more graffiti on Oahu, this wall was super sick.
Read through my Juxtapoz and found this. The whole thing is made of cereal.
On the second day me and Joseph skated Makiki park. Hadn't skated that since I was like 14 or some shit. Joseph rented a moped, so lucky.

Dvds I brought over to keep myself from becoming bored. I ended up only watching Bag of Suck. I still haven't watched Miller's Crossing but I found it for 6 bucks at Suncoast so I couldn't pass that up.
On the plane ride back I asked for water for once and they gave me this. Jungle Rain, I really liked the name.
Looked through my Michael Seiben book on the plane. Since I didn't have an ipod and get sick from reading on flights, looking through this art book was perfs.
Seen this gross ass jar containing a dead snake at the airport.
Moke Life!
