Oahu Christmas Trip Day 2

Second day on Oahu, Sunday. Me, Heather, and Puni started off the morning with a trip to Pearl Ridge mall. Whenever I come to visit, we always come here at least once.
Heather and Puni walking through the front entrance of the mall.
First thing I did was go to Gamestop to look for Fallout 3. Luckily I found a used copy.
After a bit of shopping, we decided to get some lunch at the other phase of the mall, so we took the sky cab.
I took advantage of my Mcdonalds card and got myself a snack wrap and fries.
After the mall, my dad guys went to go see STOMP so I just skated to A'ala and met up with Joseph.
After the park we skated to the theater where my dad guys were at.
Looked around In4mation skate shop. That shop had a lot of sick artwork posted around.

Joseph was scoping out some Cons.
I always thought it was sick when the moon was visible in the day.
Joseph, Myself, and Heather sat down while everyone ate Dairy Queen.

Oahu Christmas Trip Day 1

My sister and I arrived on Oahu Saturday afternoon. Our flight was delayed an hour but it was still cruise. The flight seemed to go by very fast even though we had seats all the way in the back, which I hate. Puni was pretty quick to pick us up and the first place we headed was my grandparent's house.
Roven and Roven Jr. cruisen um.
My Uncle Rogan could have been Roven the 3rd.
After my grandparents house, we went to Longs to get medicine for my gross stye eye but unfortunately, they had none.
When we got to my dad's place, I was introduced to some of his wife's family. We got acquainted over some UFC.
Kyle, Nicole, Mateson, and Heather lookin like a little catepillar in her snuggie.
I love stye eye.
Some games and movies I brought over in case boredom struck.
Books for the same purpose.
Some presents I got were gift cards to nearly every fast food place.
Puni tested out my blow up matress which I discovered actually sucks cause it deflates.
I also got these cool Beatles shirts.
And Leilani got me these sick brown cords that I already love.

True Bromance

Me and Kaloe finally had our art show last Friday night. It turned out really well and I ended up having a lot of fun. I enjoyed it much more than last years. I mostly hid in the back and helped Kale screen the never-ending amount of t-shirts. We had originally made 12 pieces each plus 5 collabs but the owner of the shop, Chris, asked me to take 3 down because of the imagery. It sucked and I was kinda surprised when I almost got away with it but I was still really lucky he let us use his shop in the first place. Thanks again Chris.

Leo and Romnick being handsome.

Reuben and Kazuma were there too.
The collab table me and Kaloe set up together. I like how we unintentionally used purple in all the pieces.
My display. Taking down the 3 pieces really messed up my whole thing but I think it still looked pretty good.
My art teacher at MCC, Jennifer Owen. I think she's my favorite teacher so far. Thank you for being so supportive.
Ainoa, I love this guy.
My sister Heather and her friend Kalani showed up as well.
This is the back area where me and Kale screened the shirts.
I didn't realize how many guys were wearing plaid that night.

Fair Weekend

The Fair weekend was here again and I still remember last year's so clearly. I ended up only going once for once, we went on Saturday night. I'm pretty sure this years was the most crowded because for the first time I had to pay for parking in the MCC parking lot and catch a bus to the fair grounds.
Me, Lei, and Kale walked through the grassy parking lot to our bus that would take us to the fair. I didn't think I would be on a school bus like that ever again after graduating.
Looking at all the beautiful lights in the night was nice.
Finally found a seat under the entertainment tent. We met up with Joseph, Mikey, Kaipo, Kala, and Kala's friend Jacob whom I didn't know was with us until I noticed he was following us for a while.
Got a delish pepperoni pizza and fruit punch. I think fair pizza is in my top 5 favorite pizzas.
I really liked this piece, it has all my favorite colors. I think it was by like a 4th grader or some shit. Way better than any landscape I could do.
Kaloe didn't even tell me about this piece so I was pretty surprised and stoked to see it. It's super detailed and I was pretty impressed.
This volcano erupted some smoke while we were viewing the art and it smelled so good.
Went over to the games tent to claim my prize at the water balloon darts.
I won this little turtle first try, I was pretty happy with myself.
This is my favorite picture I took from this night.
I only went on one ride, the Ferris Wheel. I managed to get on with one ticket. Me, Lei, Kaipo, and Kala had a little double date up there.
We left at about 10:30. We had to catch the bus back to my car.

This is the final picture of the night, I took it right before I got on the bus. I really enjoyed this night, I did every thing I wanted. I got a waffle cake delight, pizza, won a prize first try, rode on the Ferris Wheel, and looked at the art exhibit....and I was stoned as shit the whole time.

Beach Day

To start off the weekend, me and Lei went to Charley Youngs. We hadn't been to the beach in super long so we got burnt a little. Nevertheless, it was a really nice day at the beach.

In preparation for the movie, I began reading The Road again. That is one of my favorite books and I'm excited to see how they interpret it into a movie.
The day was really hot but the water made up for it. It felt so good to be in the ocean again.
Afterwards, Lei decided that she wanted some ice cream so we went over to a little place called Cold Stone Creamery. She ordered a "gotta have it" of Our Strawberry Blonde.
As you can tell by my face, it was super delicious. The caramel mixed with the strawberries was amazing. I was surprised that we finished the whole thing though, it was pretty big.
I was so fucked up that I actually thought it looked good at the time.
Kale and Kaipo came over. We were looking through my collection to decide which movie to watch. Looks like Kale secretly wanted to watch the Hulk but we ended up putting on The Wedding Singer.
I was pointing out the funniest looking guy in the line up. I realized that my dad had sent me a pirated copy of Funny People so we put that in shortly after this. Funny People is the only movie of Adam Sandler's that I enjoyed more than Wedding Singer. Hah and it was funny because in the movie, Aziz brought up Cold Stone Creamery in his stand up.
